We love back to school time at our house. Even though summer is fun and we enjoy it. I’m lucky to have a daughter who really loves going to school and I am excited to help her keep loving being there. It can be overwhelming though having to get ready for back to school. You need to get so many things and when you are on budget that can be a challenge, That’s what I love about going to Walmart. We can get all the school supplies Bella will need plus stock up on stuff we are all going to need like toilet paper and paper towels. Can you ever have too much? Well for space to store it yes but it will eventually get used. So we headed to Walmart to get back to school supplies and there was so much to choose from.
One thing that is really important to me and that I want to teach my daughter is to help her teachers and her school. Teachers end up having to buy so much stuff for their classrooms out of their own money. It can end up being very expensive for teachers to make sure that their students have everything that they need. So for back to school I like to make sure that Bella has a few things to bring to her new classroom. That way we can make it a little easier on the new teacher. So at Walmart we picked up some Kleenex and a few other things that could be helpful to a classroom.
The really great thing about the Kleenex and a few other products we picked up for at home were the Box Tops. If you aren’t familiar with BoxTops they are a program for education. Basically, you see them in the store on items, clip the box tops from select brands, and turn them into your school, where they trade them in for cash. The school gets $.10 for each box top. 10 box tops = $1.00, which adds up really quickly! You can have your family and friends collect them too and then put them all together and donate them to the school. 100 box tops is $10 for the school! It’s such an amazing program and such a simple way to raise funds for local schools, which we all know could use some extra cash. Right now select products at Walmart such as toilet paper, Kleenex and paper towels have bonus Box Tops. So buying them gives us extra Boxtops to donate to my daughters school.
So check out the products at Walmart and if you have a child you care about in school. Start collecting the Box Tops and donate them to a school so that kids can get a better education. Bella loves collecting the tops for her school. She wants to get anything that has the Box Tops whether we really need it or not. So lets all get ready for back to school.
