We are heading into winter which is a great season but with it comes germs and often feeling sick. This is my family’s first winter in Colorado which is a much colder state than we are use to. More time indoors and we might be feeling yucky more often. So I want to get prepared and help you with a way to take care of your own family.
Want an easy way to always be prepared for germs?
I created an at home and in the car kit to get rid of germs and help stop sickness in its tracks
- I headed to my local King Soopers to pick up the supplies I’d need to put together a health kit.
- I wanted to make sure that when one of us is feeling kinda yucky that we have stuff at home or in the car to help us feel better and fight off germs. The faster you start trying to get feeling better the faster relief usually comes. 3. So I picked up Kleenex for running noses because it’s the softest tissue I’ve found and the anti-viral one kills germs, Halls Cough Drops to ease those scratchy throats and relieve coughs, Dial soap for frequent hand washing because it’s a great defense against germs, Breathe Right Strips to help us sleep better when are noses are stuffed. Breathe Better, Sleep Better, & Feel Better.
Get instant nasal congestion relief that’s drug free.
I also got some Theraflu caplets to help us when we need to feel better. Theraflu helps defeat sore throat, nasal congestion, chest congestion, fever, cough, headache, body aches Plus I picked up some TYLENOL® Cold and Flu pills to help us feel better when we have cold or flu symptoms.
4. I put together some of the stuff I picked up in a plastic case for us to keep in the car. This is a great way to make sure that when you are headed to work or school and start feeling under the weather that you have what you need. I do want to get some hand sanitizer to keep in the kit as well because the hand soap I’m keeping at home. I also think keeping a few bottles of water in the kit is a good idea. Right now the car it has tissues, cough drops and TYLENOL® and Theraflu caplets. I prefer the caplets but both products do have liquid form as well.
5. At home I put all my health supplies in a bin in a kitchen cabinet that way I know exactly where everything is.
That way you know that you and your family will have the tools you need to stay healthy and feel better with you at all times. Who wants to have to run to the store when they are sick to get tissues or medicine. We do it if we have to but it’s so much nicer to just have what you need at home or with you.
