It’s week 17 of the #52WeeksA4A blog challenge, and this week is all about sharing a post about a family member. Since it is Mother’s Day weekend I thought it would make since for me to do this post about my mom.
I was a Honeymoon baby and the oldest of three daughters born to my parents. My mom was 21 when I was born. She was 25 by the time she had all three of us. This is her with the three of us when we were little. She looks so tired and overwhelmed and she must of been having a 3.5 year old 1.5 year old and a baby.
My mom worked for the school district in our town while I was growing up but 10+ years ago she decided to start being a florist. She has grown her business up from out of her house into a decent sized shop. She does a lot of weddings and is always working. This is her in her flower fridge at work. She can be weird sometimes.
As a mom she did a good job but as a parent now myself we have very different styles which is fine because there are plenty of good ways to be a parent. Now says she is loving the role of grandma a lot. She has my daughter and my sister’s daughter and son. Hopefully in the future there will be more kiddos in the family. Both from me and my youngest sister who is getting married. My other sister says two is enough for her.
My niece dressed as my mom for career day at her school. How cute is she?
Since I can’t roller skate because of my leg brace my mom took Bella to a mom skate day event. They had fun together.
Here she is with my little nephew. He’s such a cutie!
