We made it through the first few days of school and we are exhausted. It has been a good experience for her so far being in kindergarten. She is starting to get to know the kids in her class. She also knows kids in other classes that she sees on the playground
Here she is at her desk during orientation.
In front of her classroom door. She does this pose now for most pictures.
What a goof she is with her cat. I don’t know how he just puts up with her and lets her torture her him.
All the preparing for the first day of school made her very tired. She fell asleep the night before school started out in the living room.
My big kid. Wearing the poncho she just had to have. This is in front of our house.
Out in front of school.
A picture of the two of us before I left. I was a little emotional at her being so big now. She went to preschool and is pretty comfortable away from me so I knew she would be fine. I just can’t believe how fast it’s gone by.
Adjusting to the being back on school schedule is hard on us. Blake came home and found the two of us asleep in my bed. I slept in a lot this summer and getting up early again is hard.
