Another week that flew by and I don’t know where the week went. I think this is going to be how all of 2015 goes though. So I was thinking for this week. I want to really step up my blog and business came so here are five things I’m doing or going to do to start succeeding even more.
I joined a couple online communities that I am going to try to be active in and participate a lot so that I can learn as much about blogging and developing a business as I can. These are the communities if you want to check them out. These are paid for communities so the more I use them the more I get my money worth.
I have a tendency to hold in my thoughts at home. I grew up in a very non-confrontational household so I struggle to speak my mind with my husband at times. So I talked to Blake today about what I want for my business and what I need help with. It was a good talk and if I can get more comfortable discussing things with him I know it will be really helpful to me in the long run.
Mu husband says I watch too much TV and I really can’t disagree. I love watching TV and will never give it all the way up. So I want to start the habit of substituting one hour of the day that I would be watching TV and read instead I have so many great books to read and it would be a better use of my time and there are shows I probably could stop watching and not miss too much.
Get more organized using Evernote. If you don’t use Evernote it is a great program that can be used on your computer, Ipad and cell phone. I love making shopping lists and lists for Target on it but I want to expand and start using it to make daily to-do lists and a running list of things I need to get done. It’s just so handy to always have it with me in some form.
I don’t sit at my desk to work with my leg issue I need my leg elevated so I sit in a recliner when I’m actually on my lap top. I do have my desk though to store papers and binders. It tends to become a catch all though. So I want to get in the habit of cleaning it off each night so hat when I start my day the next morning it is neat and tidy. I also won’t loose things as much and that will be a big plus. I might not sit a my desk but I can see it from where I do sit and seeing the chaos does not help me work well throughout my day.
So those are my five ways I’m going to start working better and smarter to get more done.
