The most amazing little boy in the world turns five today. My nephew Austen is getting so big. It seems like he was just born but five years has gone by already. I thought in celebration of his being five I would share a list of birthday gift ideas for boys. I only have a daughter and sisters so when it came o what would little boys like I was lost. So if you have to get a gift for a little boy I wanted to share some birthday gift ideas for boys to help you out.
I miss this little boy so much. We live on the west coast and my sister is on the East coast so we only see them maybe once or twice a year. We will be seeing them around Thanksgiving so I am excited for that. He is a funny, energetic and sweet boy.

1. The main gift he wanted was a trampoline. It was a big gift so the family all pitched in to make it a group gift. Which is a good idea for big gifts.
When he comes out on a couple months though I will probably get him some presents plus it will almost be Christmas. So here are some birthday gift ideas for boys that I’ve found
2. Monster Trucks are a favorite of his and were the theme of his birthday party this year.
3. He also likes guns and stuff so Nerf guns are a good gift idea for little boys
3. Comic book characters and superheros are a good choice for boys of all ages, my husband loves them in his 30’s though probably not the same toys as a 5 year old.
I know that there are so many different gift ideas out there for boys and it really depends on the boy you are shopping for. I just wanted to share what I know the little five year old in my life is into so that if you need gift ideas for boys you have a place to start.
When it’s a bit closer to my daughter’s birthday in October I will do a gift ideas post for girls. It is just so rare for me to shop for boys and I can’t be the only one out there. So I thought I’d share some ideas.
So Happy Birthday Austen, I miss you and I can’t wait to see you in a couple months.
