My major goal for 2017 was to move from California to Colorado and we did that in April. Finally starting to feel settled. That means the second half of the year I can focus even more on my other goals. For my blog and business that means launching products and growing my email list.
Here were my Goals for June 2017
1. finish and launch my ebook
I worked so hard to get this book one in June but it just took longer than I expected. I’m really close now. Just editing really left to do. It’s written and formatted but I need to do a final edit.
2. make 2 opt-ins and promote them to grow my email list
I updated my landing pages for both my free course options. Hoping that increases sign-ups. I also created a checklist opt-in to go with my More than 80 things to toss that are just clutter post. This list is doing well.
3. update 2 old posts a week for affiliate links and SEO
I ended up updating 4 posts so about half of what I wanted to. Going to do more of this in July. I have a lot of older posts that need some work.
4. Read 4 books ( I ended up reading 5)
5. Complete units 4 and 5 of EBA ( completed Unit 4 and haven’t started 5 yet)
I took this course last year and it was the best thing I’ve done for my blog. The course is so great and full of information that I am retaking it this year. You can’t enroll now but Ruth does offer this free ebook on boosting your blogging income that you can get here.
My Goals for July 2017
1 Update 8 old posts
2. create two new opt-ins to increase email sign-ups
Some of my best opt-ins come from suggestions from my readers. So if you ever have an idea leave me a comment or send me an email. I want to help you and love your input.
3. email my list once a week
So if you are on my list expect me to actual email you. Something I’m not very good at. I want to get better at it though and this month I’m going to put in more effort to building my list and connecting with my subscribers.
4 Launch my ebook
If you are confused by or want a better understanding of Pinterest you are going to want to check out my ebook. I’ve been working on it for awhile. Sign up for my free email course to make sure you are on my email list and get notified first when it’s released.
5. Outline my upcoming clutter course
6. read 4 books
I’ve gotten some fantastic books lately. I’m currently reading Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab. It is the sequel to This Savage Song. The first book was fantastic and I’m loving book two. They are great, fun books for summer.
