I don’t know about you but I love the beginning of the month and setting new goals. It is a chance for me to reflect on what I did right and wrong in the month before and to make goals for the month ahead. Doing this doesn’t take much time but it is so helpful. If I only set goals one a year I would forget all about them and end up accomplishing nothing. Setting monthly goals lets me see where I need to work hard and spend more time on in the new month.
We are almost to the halfway point of 2017. That means that if you have things you wanted to do this year and you’ve gotten them done. Good job, time to set some new goals for the year. If you haven’t got them done. Don’t worry there is still time but you have to start being more focused. That’s why I love monthly goals. They keep me focused so I don’t get to December and realize I got nothing done.
Here were my Goals for May 2017
1 Work on creating a 14-day decluttering challenge so I can launch it ( This challenge is actually becoming a course so it’s taking more time. It will be done this summer though)
2. Read 4 books ( completed I read four)
3. Finish my ebook on Pinterest (It will be up for sale in June I’m close to ready to launch it)
4. Do research on Affiliate Sales (Yes I’ve been learning a lot)
My Goals for June 2017
1. finish and launch my ebook
If you are confused by or want a better understanding of Pinterest you are going to want to check out my ebook. I’ve been working on it for awhile. Sign up for my free email course to make sure you are on my email list and get notified first when it’s released.
2. make 2 opt-ins and promote them to grow my email list
It’s time to get really serious about growing my list and I know that creating opt-ins are a great way to get new subscribers. So I want to create two new opt-ins in June that I can promote throughout the summer.
3. update 2 old posts a week for affiliate links and SEO
4. Read 4 books
5. Complete units 4 and 5 of EBA
I took this course last year and it was the best thing I’ve done for my blog. The course is so great and full of information that I am retaking it this year. You can’t enroll now but Ruth does offer this free ebook on boosting your blogging income that you can get here.
