I’ve broken my goals for the year into the main categories I’m hoping to work on this year. I’m trying not to have too many goals for the year because if you have too many goals it’s hard to focus.

I’m also going to go back to sharing monthly goals here on the blog I didn’t do that in 2020 and think that lack of accountability made it harder for me to stick to my goals. So that’s one thing I’m changing in 2021 to help me get to achieve my goals.
Also I hope that sharing my monthly goals with you all will help to remind you of your goals and keep you moving forward on them this year.
My goals for 2021
My Marriage
- go on 2 dates a month with Blake: Hopefully at some point we will be able to go out somewhere on dates. I’m still not going out much because I’m high risk for COVID complications. So at this point dates will be at home or going on drives.
2 have a weekend away with just Blake and me: Again this will have to wait until I feel it’s safer for me to go away somewhere but I’m hopeful that it will be able to happen this year.
Being a mom
3 go on a family trip: Again this is something I really hope to do this year when I feel that it can be done safely. We could really use a family vacation or trip even a short one.
4 Read 3 books about parenting teens: Being in a new phase of parenting brings about new challenges and new questions. So I want to learn more about parenting teens and making sure to have the best relationship with my teenage daughter as possible.
My blog
5 get to 10,000 email subscribers: I have about 1500 subscribers right now and this will be a big jump but I’m pushing hard to make this goal in 2021. If you’d like to join my email newsletter sign up here:

6 have a 5 figure month: I didn’t share my goals or income reports in 2020 because I scaled back a lot last year. I want to start sharing these again with the hope that they inspire you and to help keep me accountable. I want to hit a 5 figure month this year and need the accountability to do this.
7 create two new products: I’m excited to make new products that I think will help my audience and make their lives better. It is a lot of work to create products but I enjoy creating things and am excited to make at least two in 2021.
Myself
8 read 150 books: (I track my books on Goodreads you can follow me to see what I read. This is the biggest reading goal I’ve set)
9 start working out more regularly: My husband is becoming a personal trainer so he’s helping me with a workout program which I need because I’m not a fan of working out. Check out his site here)
10 build an emergency fund: I have big things I want to do in the next couple of years and having a healthy emergency fund will make them easier to do. So building this up in 2021 is important to me this year.
There you have it! My 10 goals for 2021. I’ll keep you posted on how things go with my Monthly goal posts. Come on 2021: let’s do this!!
