Today is day 4 of the Blogging challenge I’m a part of and it’s days like this that I like doing this for. Today’s prompt is not an area I have written about I think. It’s about how I get ready for a trip. This is one area that I am not an expert in at all.
Here is how it typically goes for me, I know a trip is coming up I put together a list of what is needed and then I procrastinate. It’s my downfall. I know what I need to do and what needs to get done and then I rush around to try and get it done two days or the day before. Then I stress about trying to get it done even though I had plenty of a time. I just hate packing and I put it off for as long as possible.
So my advice is to not be like me before a trip. Get your list and then get it done. That way you will be stress free before a trip and not worried about getting things done last minute. Luckily we don’t travel a lot. The only one who does is Bella who stays with her grandparents in the summer for a couple weeks. So I just have to pack for her, plus if I do forget something for her then her grandma will make sure she gets what she needs. Bella actually leaves in two weeks so I should start thinking about what she’ll need.

The funny thing is I stress what to pack for Bella to make sure she has what she needs. Then because her grandparents don’t see her that often they take the time to spoil her. She comes home with a new wardrobe every-time. My Mother in law will post pictures of what they are doing on facebook and 90% of the time I don’t recognize the clothes she’s in. It’s nice but I’ve got to remember not to stress about packing because she will be fine.
