1. Tell us your favorite baby names? Aside from your own babies, if you have some 🙂
Girls: Olivia, Avery. Grace,
Boys: noah, patrick, Jackson
I like pretty popular names. My daughter is Isabella Sophia which were #’s 1 and 2 in popularity the year she was born. My name, Karissa, got mispronounced and misspelled all the time so I like names no one would get wrong.
2. Show me your “dream” nursery {can be your baby’s nursery or one that you love}
3. How many children would you like to have? How far apart?
I’m not sure I want more than one for sure. My daughter is almost six and I expected my kids to be closer in age but it didn’t work out that way. I hope that in a few years we can have two or three more. I was only 21 when my daughter was born so I’ve got years left to have more kids.
4. Tell us what you think the importance of parenting is?
To teach children what they need to learn about the world. We have to guide them through life. We also need to be a source of comfort through the hard parts of growing up. They need us to be strong for them and teach them to be strong. It’s hard work being a parent because there are no clear answers.
5. Show us your favorite newborn photo {can be your children or random}
Isabella two months old
Computer time with daddy
daddy’s girl
First time at the zoo
6. Tell us some things you promise to never do as a parent {and if you are a parent, did you stick to it}
I never believed in co sleeping, I don’t know if I ever said I wouldn’t but after I had a baby with colic and that was one of the only ways she would sleep we co slept part of the time.
Most things I said I would do I ended up doing, at least the big things.
Had a drug free birth. did it.
Wanted to nurse long term. Did till she self weaned at 16 months.
I let her watch more TV than I probably will let my next children. I don’t mind some TV but she’s always been a big TV watcher.

My husband loves the name Jackson! If we ever have a boy he’s already decided that’s his name! 🙂 New follower from the ILMOF Hop!
