So I’ve never been thin and it’s not a big deal to me most of the time. My weights always kind of gone up and down and right now I’m up and it’s time to go back down. I’m tall 5’8″ so I’m lucky that my height has been able to hide some of my weight but it’s time to get healthy and drop some pounds. I follow a lot of bloggers and quite a few of them are on weight loss and fitness journey’s right now so I’ve been researching what I want to do and it’s time to start. I’m committing to an 8 week program and I am going to give it my all over the nexyt 8 weeks to tighten and tone myself up. The Tone it Up girls are one place I’m finding a lot of information and inspiration so if you are after the same journey that’s a good place to start.
I refuse to be someone who worries and obsesses about my weight because I think that’s emotionally and mentally unhealthy but it’s time to start doing something. When I did my recent stitch Fix pictures I can see that I’m up a bit in weight and I want to get it under control. So here is what I’m focusing on for the next 8 weeks.
1. Cutting out Soda: This is going to be so hard but when I’ve managed to do it in the past I lose a lot of weight and my body looks less puffy and bloated. I swap out soda for water with Crystal Light with caffiene because that is only 5 calories a bottle and I don’t go through horrible withdrawls from the caffiene.
2. Get better at my shakes. I drink Herbalife shakes and you can have one a day to maintain and two a day to lose weight. I’ve gotten lazy and have just been drinking my morning ones. I know I will lose more if I have a second one a day at lunch time. So I need to make the effort to just do that.
3. Buy and keep healthy snacks: I need to have healthy snack options at home so when I’m hungry I have good for me options. Too often lately Ive been turning to junk and unhealthy foods when I’m hungry just because I haven’t had healthy things on hand.
4. Exercise more: I’ve never been someone who likes to exercise but if I want this to work andto start looking better I’m going to have to start exercising more. I have workout programs I van do at home and I have the time it’s just making the committment to do it and by putting it out there to all of you that will hopefully get me motivated to stay on track. I’m going to weigh and do my measurements Thursday mornings and I don’t feel comfortable sharing the numbers I will be posting weekly updates and piunds and inches lost. Hopefully you don’t get too sick of my weight loss and tone up journey.
