Welcome to another week of my Women to Watch series. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve done a post because I need more bloggers, so if you’d like to be a part of this series leave me a comment with your email address and I will send you the info. I love getting to know these other amazing bloggers and getting to share them with all of you. This week we are getting to know the lovely blogger Dee from The CSI Project.
Hi! My name is Dee and I am The CSI Girl. I love all things creative, yellow and leopard print. I am a Diet Coke drinkin’, craftin’, party throwin’, fashion lover, wife, step mom, dog mom to Hope and Mimi, born and raised Texan now living in Arizona, and I am a craft/lifestyle blogger. At The CSI Project, I encourage people to Create, Share and Inspire! Same goes for life. When you create and share, you are sure to inspire those around you. I also believe you should go the extra smile everyday, every chance you get!
2. What is one of the last things that made you smile?
Watching and listening to my youngest step child play the piano. A house with music is a happy, peaceful one!
3. Who is you biggest inspiration?
Actually, a friend of mine that I lost contact with. After going through many obstacles in life, she never stopped striving for better. She paid off mounds of debt, worked as a teacher in the inner city and her love for her students was inspiring. Now, she is remarried after losing her 1st husband tragically and fostering the same students she loved so dearly who need love. My dream is to reconnect with her even if we live states apart.
4. If you could relive one moment in your life what would it be and why?
It would be a hug from someone I loved. Maybe I would hold on a little longer, say something different but the memory of it has never left me. From the 1st hug to our very last.
5. What is your favorite book?
Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
6. What moment in your life has had the greatest impact?
The moment of starting over. Picking up my life, moving to a new state and living a life guided by passion, purpose and love. I know its a broad moment but some moments are just too big!
